It's now time for the Friday Five!

1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?
I don't watch any sport on the regular, but when I do, I watch either basketball, football or baseball.

2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite athletes?
I love the Bearcats (hey that's my univ. what do you expect?!), I'm feeling OSU (especially after they won the championship last season), I like the Reds, and I loathe the Bengals (or should I say, Bungles?). They got a new coach and all, but improvement, or any spots in any playoffs or super bowls for that matter, are still way off. Michael Jordan has always been the man, and I'm questioning Kobe Bryant at the moment, with all the scandal going on around him.

3. Are there any sports you hate?
I find golf to be boring, although I like Putt-Putt. I don't have any idea of what sense that makes. That's my off beat logic for ya.

4. Have you ever been to a sports event?
Yes, I've been to a few Reds games. My Mom was able to score some really sweet seats from her old job. The company boss has some really good season seats like in the fourth row on the 1st base line. I remember the couple of times we went my Dad and I were trying to get Ken Griffey Jr.'s attention so that I could get a snapshot of him; our attempts were unsuccessful. Plus dodging/trying to catch all those fly balls was exciting but scary.

5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?
As stated in the movie Grease: "If you can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter." I always loved that quote from that movie. Although I'm not a jock strap, I did enjoy going to the Friday night football games when I was in high school. That was the hangout- plus when it was homecoming, it was always crazy, although the Eagles lost every homecoming when I was there except in the 99-00 season, when I was a senior.
